There are a lot of different bunkers on this field(from woods,to airball, speedball, trenches, and a clocktower), lots of firefights took place, there were tanks, and the sportsmanship was the best I've ever seen in paintball(which can always be expected at a BC game). All we can say is WOW. This was such an amazing game. Friday night all BC players were treated to free food from BC and their sponsors. On Saturday morning the weather was gloomy but the people were still cheery, as usual. As the American and Russian teams geared up for the inevitable fight, the generals and BC staff were hard at work behind the scenese getting everything organized to the fullest extent. Finally, after the player briefing both teams took to the field. The game started at 1 PM with props strewn out throughout the field. The Americans and Russians had to use codes to unlock the boxes with the props inside. Within a minute Russian and American forces met and began to battle. For the entire first day the Americans attempted to gain back ground they had lost, but the uphill(literally) battle seemed to be too much for the seemingly outnumbered Americans. However, what the Americans lacked on the first day of battle, they made up for with trickery; the Americans managed to hack into the Russian bank account and steal all of the money from them. Morale was never low among either side with the American general John Sawyer constantly reassuring his wavering troops and the Soviets needed no inspiration to crush this annoying rebellion. The Americans invaded the fuel depot while under heavy fire. Unfortunately, the weather did get very intense and players were taken off the field, but only until it cleared up. When the teams retook the field the Sons of Liberty(SOL) took the ammo depot and found a chemical agent to use. Nightplay led to many instances of barrel tagging and soradic firefights. To make things more interesting, Spiro of BC lit up the field with fireworks. The next day the teams took the field and the Sons of Liberty came out swinging. SOL forces took the hills, fuel depot, and the Soviet's "re-education center". With cries of freedom the Americans sealed a broad perimeter around the Soviet base and secured it with tank support. The SOL continued their devious ways by infecting the Soviet drinking water with numerous diseases and the SOL broadcasted messages of freedom and rebellion over the airwaves while other Americans simply yelled their discontent at the Soviet base. The Soviets and Sons of Liberty met in a final battle in the town's center. The field of battle was littered with debris and in the middle was the tower. As the battle raged the SOL shot their way into the tower and set off the chemical agent on the top floor in a selfless act of sacrifice for freedom. At the end of the day the Sons of Liberty had won the battle, but not the war. The Soviets may have lost their foothold in America, but they still maintained international power. At the end of the day there was the habitual prize and award ceremony w/ great prizes courtesy of BCs sponsors. Special thanks goes out to Karnage paintball who drove their paint from Missouri to Ohio just to get it to the game in time for us. Pics will be up ASAP.
