    Good Scenario Boots??

I'm looking to pickup some Boots/Cleats to wear at Scenario Games... need some advice, or a point in the right direction... brand etc etc.

Comfortability is the main thing I'm looking for. Something that is like a Boot, but comfortable enough like a sneaker. Decent treads or spikes of some sort for grippage on the hardest terrain.

Looking for Waterproof, Zipper-up sides or front, like 6-9" Tall (incase i step in some mud/bog/creek).

I have some Dye All Terrain Cleats, just wish they were like 6-9" tall, for stepping in water, etc.

    Help a baller out,

Check out Original SWAT Boots. For YEARS I used Magnum Boots and after trying these, all I can say is WOW!

I have some better Magnums I wear for paintball (forget the actual style) when playing woodsball. I was issued some SWAT boots but honestly i do not like them. I wear some Bates M9 Desert Assaults for duty though and love them. Any good tactical boot that is waterproof goretex is going to run you around $125-$300+ the Magnums are most affordable IMHO being well under $100.

I got some service boots at Big 5 for 20 bucks on sale, and I use them for Speedball and Woods.

Check out your nearest army surplus store and pick up some combat boots.

i hate scenarios... that being said, i wear these boots just for general use: http://www.selfdefenseproducts.com/p...oots/index.php

i used to wear shorter boots/hiking boots but they were annoying to lace up, so i got the zipper ones, although if you want waterproof you could go with the lace up ones (there isnt much point in having waterproof boots with a huge zipper on them). they seem like they would be good for scenarios, they are comfortable, have good traction, and have held up well so far. if you play speedball though, youre going to want shoes/cleats.

yep i saw the thread title from the AO forums main page and decided to click on it, since i wear boots that i thought would be good for scenarios. ive always hated woodsball. my friend dragged me to a scenario, and i thought hey maybe it would be better... it wasnt. speedball is just my game, i cant stand woodsball and since i havent actually used the boots in a woodsball game, i thought id state that. still, theyre good boots.

I've decided on Classic 9" Waterproof Swat Boots. Not the classic wicking ones, the newer Waterproof.

I'll let you guys know how I enjoy, thanks BlackCat and all!

                        slade,

I play indoor all winter and scenario/big game the rest of the year.

Your profile says you're from MA... I'm from NJ. If you're up for it, meet me at Strategy Plus, for a scenario in CT this year, we'll play together on the same side and I strongly believe you will change your mind. It will be like speedball on a larger field with many more targets

Almost constant action, for an entire day... as long as you're in shape for it

I love both types of play.

                        ---------------------------------------------------------------------

I prefer the non-waterproof boats because they fit more like a glove and I can run faster in them.

I got some Wolverine brand boots from Cabelas, look for something that turkey or deer hunters wear for all-day stalking. Mine are the "Antelope", basically a gore-tex high-top sneaker in camo print. Well made and comfortable. Lightweight is important is you want to move fast.

                            Thanks ALL

I just got my Original Swat Waterproof Boots in the mail. Wore them all afternoon! They fit great; tons of space to breath, and nice support. Feel like a sneaker, but tis a boot with traction.

THANKS AGAIN for all who helped.

                            BlackCat, i owe ya one!
