K, looking for a list of scenarios and tourneys in june. Im graduating this year, and my dad said something about "doing something youll never regret and always remember", so I translated that to "RoadTrip from SC, to Cali, to Texas, to whatever". Im looking for listings of any tourneys, scenarios, group meetings, and what not. Im pretty sure my group is gonna contain me, TheActionFigure, PaintMagnet, and TrippZilla. It will prob be a one week excursion, so im trying to optimize on the occasion and maximize the number of games we attend.

If your heading West, be sure to stop at Fox Paintball near Chicago. SPLATTERZONE PAINTBALL PRODUCTIONS will be hosting a total of 17 events at Fox Paintball alone this year. There will be a 3 hour MINI Scenario on June 11th. Pay the normal field fee for open play and the 3 hour MINI Scenario is free. We take players from the open game that want to participate in the scenario and show them what a scenario game is all about, without the huge overhead fees.
We do still offer speedball on 5 different fields if players arent interested in the scenario that day. All of these events at Fox Paintball are BYOP events. A 3 hour MINI Scenario is the same as a large, all day event, just faster, and much, much cheaper. We still provide the missions, props, mercenaries, missionaries, prizes (Field and free raffle at game end), role playing, paintball tanks, free air fills, and much, much more. If this is a "Special Event", we will add some authentic costumes or prizes for the raffle. Last year, we gave away costumes that were actually on the tv show STARGATE SG1.
So, thats just one more option for you while heading out West. Were also offering Night Play on the ULTIMATE AIRBALL and SUPAIR fields on all 4 Saturday nights in June at the field. So extended play is a +.

Oklahoma D-Day
I believe D-Day in Oklahoma is the largest in the world. Here's a link to the site.Originally posted by jhardy66The biggest game I know of in June is Oklahoma D-Day. I believe it is the week of June 5-11.

The regular summer hours at Fox Paintball are from 9am till 5pm. The night speedball in June will be played on the ULTIMATE AIRBALL field each Saturday night in June from 5pm till 10pm. If we get enough players at these night games, we will continue to play night speedball throughout the summer, plus open 2 more speedball fields if needed.
We will be running one "Night Scenario" game onely on July 3rd. The game starts at Midnght and will run till 8am. Personally, I dont like night play (And ive played alot of scenarios), but, I would love to be able to play in one of the night games that we host. The entire field will be lit up. We alternate the lights constantly instead of using flares. We do still use some flares, strobe lights, night vision, glow sticks for all players and boundaries, and smoke bombs. Its much safer and more fun the way we run our night games.
As for the actual list of Scenarios that will be played at Fox PB this year, go to WWW.FOXPAINTBALL.COM. As for the SPLATTERZONE PAINTBALL PRODUCTIONS schedule, go to WWW.SPLATTERZONEPAINTBALL.NET.
Hope this helps. Our first event at Fox PB this year will be on Sunday, March 5th. This will be our traditional season opener at Fox PB. The theme is "Paintballs Largest Scavenger Hunt". Its an AWESOME game with over 100 field props and objectives.

That's not all there is to it.
There are games and events the whole week before the D-Day scenarios that occur on Saturday and Sunday morning. Plenty to do if you can or want to show up early. BTW, if you want to be in one of the Ranger, Commando, or Airborne unts, you MUST show up early and go through a qualifying course. No pansies allowed in the elite units.Originally posted by bentothejam1nno its a day and a halflong. but you would want to get in the night before

OK/DD.......
As someone pointed out there are things going on all week long. For a detailed list go to the Oklahoma D-Day website. but here's a rough idea.
~ 5-man & 3-man air ball fields set-up for play. during the day & under the lights all week.
~ Mini scenario on Wed or Thur
~ Obstacle course
~ Venders row..... you can buy stuff from almost any vender in paintball
~ Sniper training course headed up by NiteOwl
~ Visit with your outfit.... get to know the guys you'll be playing along side
~ And of course the game itself, Sat & Sun.
* OK/DD the biggest game in the world? Maybe, maybe not...... I will agree tho that it is one of the largest games around. You won't be able to play as a Ranger as someone mentioned, those units filled up long ago. You can however still get into the Commonwealths Airbourne unit and probably my ol' unit the 82nd Airbourne. However if you want to do something you'll never forget find my friend General Randal Parker and join him and the BIG RED ONE for the D-Day beach landing. Trust me, you'll remember that experience for many many years.
Take lots of money, it's not cheap but it is probably the biggest & best event during the month of June.
And yes I know from first hand experience... played on the German side for 3 years and then on the Allied side for 3 more. If you want to know something in particular feel free to PM me.Last edited by kansas kaos; 04-30-2006, 05:23 PM.Comment
