Weaklings need not apply here (Recruiting for OK D-Day)

I'm looking for a few hard-charging individuals who have what it takes to serve in the best unit on either side at D-Day in Oklahoma, the Geisterjagers. Oklahoma D-Day is the largest paintball event in the world, and it is well worth the trip to the northeast corner of Oklahoma for a week of the best scenario paintball in your life. The event will run from 4 June 2007 through 10 June 2007 with the big game being conducted on 9 June 2007. You don't have to attend for the whole week, but the Big Game on Saturday the 9th is the centerpiece event.

The Geisterjagers are a dedicated group of players who realize the need for preparation, planning, training, fitness, and skill to realize our goals. Last year, we were the first German unit to fill up even though it was our unit's first year. Most of our experienced members from '06 will be back (several have already registered), so we aim to fill our 50 billets well ahead of any other units. Our planning is already well under way, with some missions already assigned and staffed.

Last year, our unit was all over the 800 acre field from Game On to the final shot. We saw action from the southern edge to the northern boundary. We were the first German unit to see action in the morning, and we were instrumental in breaking the flank of the last Allied advance of the evening. If you think you have what it takes to run with us in '07, contact me back channel for details. If you are up to a stern physical challenge, running with us will provide that. If you like to work as part of an organized team, the Geisterjagers are your unit. If you want the best paintball experience of your life, this will be it.

After sorting out the registrations with The Bunker, we still have a small handful of slots open in the Geisterjagers for OK D-Day 2007. At this point, we are looking for the best of the best to add to our number. If that describes you and you plan on playing in OK D-Day '07, register Geisterjagers ASAP.

As of 1 April, you will no longer be able to register for the unit of your choice. Registrations after that date will be assigned to units based on need. Since the Geisterjagers have reached our needs, it is unlikely many registrations after 1 April will be assigned to this unit. If you want to run with the best, you have only a few days to register.
