It has been 3 weeks now since I arrived in this strange place. My arrival coupled with all of these new things I have seen, has taken its toll. I have come to realize that the code is no longer. The people here in this place have lost their sense of right and wrong. The days of Honor and Glory are past. These people know nothing of the code. I am reminded of the code, and my heart aches for its loss.

His blade upholds the law. His sword defends the weak. His name will echo righteousness. Standing behind Excalibur we will defend our country, uphold her honor, and stand as one.

why do they not know of the code. These leaders, their ways, they are corrupt, petty and without honor. I must spread the word of the code. I must restore the glory. I make this vow, I will restore the code, I will spread it value, until its the day of its restoration or my demise!

POLICE CHIEF DIES IN CAR EXPLOSION

Albany, Police Chief Wadsworth, of the Albany Police Department died instantly yesterday morning as his police cruiser exploded in front of the Central Avenue police station. Witness' state that the chief was leaving from a routine meeting with Police Captain Hastings regarding "The Hierarchy" threat.
Officers flooded out of the precinct to try and get the chief out of the patrol car, but were unable to get close enough due to the heat of the flames.
The Albany City Fire Department arrived on the scene minutes later to extinguish the blaze. LT. Dan Markinson of the fire department stated "The vehicle was fully involved at the time of our arrival, there was no chance that anyone inside the car could possibly have been alive." Firefighters also stated that the heat was so intense it nearly consumed all of the police chiefs body.

The fresh snow has fallen, wiping clean the world around us. Too long have we sat here and watched. The corruption, the infinite corruption of our society. The bloodline must be restored, and the Monarchy returned. These feeble leaders know not what is to be. The balance, the balance is missing. Avalon, I weep for thee, Avalon I stand here to restore your glory! Like the falling of the snow, like the clean slate before us, I will wipe the slate clean. I will lead the Hierarchy back into power. I will start here and restore the heirs to the throne.

Carefully I must plan. An attack. YES! An attack is needed, a show of strength. Then a warning. Once this is done we will begin the war. We will restore the bloodline. We will bring Justice to the corrupt. We will bring back the balance. WE WILL PREVAIL.

I draw the sword and pledge my life for the code. I draw my own blood and leave the mark. The mark of the righteous.

"His name is SHAW, he is a mass murderer, A man who released a chemical weapon in the middle of the city. Our City,.. Albany. A scar across his face, one He put there to signify his personal triumph. It is he, a man without a soul who stands before this Jury. He stands here, smug and confident that you, you twelve will acquit him. A guilty man, one without remorse. He deserves a punishment that no man before has deserved. Death..... Death is the only way we will ever be safe from this monster. I will ask you to remember the events of April 17th... The bomb exploded, 113 children dead. Massacred in their own school. Their lives choked out slowly, by a chemical that ate their lungs from the inside out. A toxin so corrosive, that rescue was impossible. Remember their faces crying pressed to the windows of the school, crying out for help, and all rescuers could do is stand and watch. This man deserves no sympathy, no leniency, this man deserves only Death. I implore you, the jury... Do not set this man free. Find this man guilty, and sentence him to no less than Death..."

These words were spoken shortly before Sebastian Shaw was sentenced to death by the New York State penal system. District Attorney Hoefer's argument to put this religious fanatic to death fell on the ears of an attentive jury, and Sebastian Shaw was taken to a maximum security prison, deep in the hills of Rensselaer County.

That evening The District Attorney's house exploded killing his wife and child. The cult organization known as "The Hierarchy" takes responsibility for the bombing. DA Hoefer survives and vows that he will personally lead the task force to capture all the members of the cult.

More explosions follow, The Chief of police is killed by a car bomb, several police Captains and key officers are killed various locations around Albany. They are being hunted. DA Hoefer is given command authority over the police and the Governor is quoted to say "Do whatever it takes JC- bring this Hierarchy down!"

AS the DA calls in help from a special federal unit, the unthinkable happens. The prison is attacked, and in a coordinated effort, Sebastian Shaw escapes and dives deep into the underworld to once again lead "the Hierarchy"

A speech given on the steps of the Capitol Building, Albany New York, April 4th 2007

I am Sebastian Shaw, the reincarnation of Sir Sebastian Shaw, 13th knight of the round table. I served England under the rule of Arthur, king of all kings. My quest is knoble, my will is unconquerable.

I was born of Eric Shaw, my father, 25 generations later, I am the 13th descendant of the 13th descendant. I stand alone in this a new time, a new place. I stand for Justice, honor and peace. I stand to restore Camelot, and the old code. I will put an end to corruption, evil and the twisted government that taxes your minds, your pockets and your spirit!

PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE: SHAW, SEBASTIAN
I was contracted by the City of Albany Police District Attorneys office to complete a psychological profile of one Sebastian Shaw due to the events which occurred last month regarding the Emett school.
After extensive session with the afore mentioned patient. my conclusions are that the patient is in a delusional state of mind. The patient believes that he is the reincarnation of the thirteenth knight of the round table. He believes that he has rightfully descended twenty six generations throught the bloodline and has been re-born to lead the world out of corruption. Subject Shaw has explained a family history leading all the way back to Sir Sebastian Shaw. A man knighted by King Arthur himself to be a member of the round table. The story as it is told, states that Sir Sebastian Shaw held a special seat at the table, and was to have a special mission to restore the order if it ever fell. Soon after his knighthood, Sir Sebastian Shaw disappeared. This is where the story ends in history.
The patient believes that he is Sir Sebastian Shaw, sent through time to restore the order and put an end to corruption. The patient's belief is without question. The patient is aware of his surroundings, the day, and date. The patient is abnormally intelligent. He is astute in his belief that he is he to restore the order.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
The subject is non-violent, but is extremely dangerous. He has astounding charisma, and should not be in large groups or the general population. The subject needs to be isolated and kept under strict observation at all times.

Everything in here is current as of right now and if anything changes I will try to remember to come back and correct it.

I'm sure many of you haven't played at APE but they put some great games together, the players are some of the best guys you could hope for in a game like this, and the field is constantly improving. Even if you can't make this game I would encourage all of you in the area to play there a few times.

I wont be able to make this one so don't go looking for me, not that you care.

Mission 1 is up

so this is what you guys have been waiting for. With Manhunt just a few weeks away heres the layout.

The Hierarchy
Commanded by Sebastian Shaw,(the real one) second in command Eric Locksley (played by Synister Demon from Hube's Pocket)

Public Safety
commanded by District Attorney JC Hoefer, second in command Captain Dan Trask of the terrorist task force. (position to be named by JC)

The background for Mission Block 1 will be, that the Public Safety Team, also known as the Fugitive Task Force (FTF) needs to regain control of the Nassau Correctional Facility and restore order. Among the FTF will be the Correctional Guards, and the Task force itself. The FTF will attempt to regain control of the Facility and restore it to working order. to do this they must enter the facility, and take control of three key checkpoints and maintain control of them. The checkpoints will be Flag station 1 (POW camp) Flag station 2 (PIT) and Flag station 3 (bunker) The FTF must have attained control of these three stations by the missions end for 100 points. Once the flag station is taken, it cannot be turned back to Hierarchy control. The FTF will enter the field at the Old Village and the command post can be mobile. However the Respawn point for the FTF will be the orange traffic blockers between the old village and the POW camp.

secondary to the FTF will be the Capture of the 10 escaped lieutenants of the Hierarchy. They will be marked by an armband. The LT's will be single elimination. For every LT eliminated (captured) the FTF will gain 10 points (10 LT's x 10 points = 100 points)

The Hierarchy will have control of the checkpoints in the facility. As Sebastian Shaw has ordered that the "Castle" be maintained as a Headquarters for the movement, it is to be defended to the last man. Maintaining the three checkpoints will gain the Hierarchy 100 points. Maintaining 2 will gain the Hierarchy 50 points, and maintaining one will gain the Hierarchy 25 points.

The 10 escaped Lieutenants need to retrieve new cell orders from Sebastian Shaw himself. Each Lt will need to find Shaw, and check in with him to pick up missions for mission block 2. Shaw will be on the field to issue these orders himself, but his identity must remain a secret. For each mission packet picked up by missions end the Hierarchy will receive 10 points. (10 packets x 10 lt's = 100 points)

Also if Sebastian Shaw's identity remains a secret, the Hierarchy will gain a bonus 50 points.

Mission block 2 will depend on how many cell missions are in play at mission block 1's end.

Missions 2 and 3

for mission blocks 2 and three, the map will change. refer to the map provided on the day of the game.

The Old Village will become the City of Albany

The Pow Camp will become the City of Rensselaer

The Pit will become NYS ISO (power distribution facility)

the Bunker will be The Nassau Correctional Facility

The Barracks will become the Village of Nassau.

The Main Bridge will be the Collar City Bridge.

The Hierarchy will receive a series of terrorist missions. The missions will be given out by Sebastian Shaw in Mission block 1 for points. However, they will carry over to mission block 2. (missions that were not in play at the end of block 1 will be put into play for game continuity- no points will be awarded for these missions in block 1) The Hierarchy must carry out as many of these coded missions as possible.

The FTF will have to respond to the terrorist actions taken. Communication will be key for the FTF as they will have to dispatch police, fire and EMS agencies to repsond to any terrorist activity. Terrorist activity prevented will be awarded the points equal to the mission plus an additional 20 points. The FTF can gain points by dispatching the proper agency (police, fire, ems) to any terrorist action. Intelligence will be provided to the FTF by reffing staff.

Terrorist missions accomplished will be worth their point value stated in the mission. The Hierarchy can also gain points by disrupting the agencies from reaching their destinations. (point values will be laid out in the missions)

the FTF will respawn on the damn area on the backside of the Pond.

the Hierarchy will respawn at the marked tree between the Bunker and the Chronograph.

for Mission block 3

Sebastian Shaw is REVEALED!!!!!

The FTF must capture Sebastian Shaw. Shaw will be wearing dual armbands. he must be shot in BOTH armbands to be captured. He is not invincible, if he is shot as a normal player he will have to re spawn. The FTF must also capture the second in command Eric Lockley rules will be the same as Shaw. With the capture of these two radical terrorists, peace and security can be restored to the region.

To establish a new order the remnants of the corrupt government must be wiped out. The death of District Attorney Hoefer and his second in command Dan Trask must be accomplished. The DA and his second in command will be wearing dual arm bands (sound familiar?) to be killed they must be shot in both bands to be removed from the game. Both players will respawn as normal if shot during the battle.

all players will be confined to the pow camp B and the Old Village A

teams will receive points based on the speed of removing the commanders from the game. Re spawns will be the Traffic Marker behind the POW camp for the Hierarchy, and the Dam area behind the old village.(area will be marked.

MAIN RULE- COMMANDERS MAY NOT BE HIDDEN FOR MISSION BLOCK THREE- COMMANDERS NOT PARTICIPATING IN THE BATTLE WILL HAVE POINTS DEDUCTED FROM THE TEAMS TOTAL.

ALL PLAYERS MUST RESPAWN AT DESIGNATED LOCATIONS

ALL HITS COUNT, EXCEPT GUN HITS.

ANYTHING MAY BE MOVED FOR COVER

ANYTHING ATTACHED TO THE BODY OF A PLAYER IS PART OF HIS HER UNIFORM AND COUNTS WHEN HIT.

PLAYERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO USE THEIR IMAGINATION AND THINK OUTSIDE OF THE DESIGNATED PARAMETERS OF THE RULES. ALL RULE VARIATIONS MUST BE APPROVED BY THE HEAD REFEREE OVER THE RADIO.

Two more days till the game. I'm on the reffing staff for APE and part of Marshall productions, the ones putting on this here game. Its going to be a great first big game of the season. We've got a lot of players already registered and usually twice that show up the day of the event. So come on over and play. Don't like the refs? On Sunday, we'll be stepping on the field to do some playing. One of the owners of APE has a few games and scenarios lined up for us refs. What better way to welcome summer than to meet it at 280fps.
