SGA Success!
Months of planning and we pulled it off with maximum performance. OK, we lost the BIG GAME, but we played our hearts out and I think really demonstrated how talented our team is. We may not be as experienced as team Extream Measures, or NJ Titans, but SGA has the best looking girls. We proved that during our stop at AL_Steel's "BLUE SHROOM CLUB" tent. I know there are many problems every teamed experienced during this scenario, but I will save that for another thread.
I have to give thanks to everyone who we had a personal player experience with during our time at the park:
Mr. Steel, thanks for the great environment your team setup for the players; the Tyrell Corp. are nothing but money grubbers...wouldn't have had it any other way. The girls had a really good time at the tent.
NJ Titans, I looked for you but couldn't find the darn camper; my team danced our butt's off for that gun... DJs wouldn't give it to us. Uhh, next time.
Shark Tooth Man, your totally the best personality to hang out with during the post night game celebrations. I loved hanging with you at the Shroom and sharing some good life experiences.
Merio, the first person I met at the Shroom while looking for Al. Thanks for the welcoming.
Shawn, with the SS Div. and their Hezter replica tank. Amazing, you guys do a good job! I know what it takes to make things look legitimate, and yours was fantastic representations. I hope to work with you guys soon.
My fellow campers!
STEVE! I finally remember your name. Thanks for allowing me to join your group Saturday night for some good down time. Best paintball talk i had the whole time at park was with your group.
Umm...My good man from NJ, whos name i cant remember, and the men who played with you. Hope you liked the paint. We loved hanging with you guys, too bad it was so short.
The "Hippy NJ Guys," great to hang with you guys Friday.
Barefoot (a real medic in the Army) and his buddy. Thanks for putting up with us and wish yo you the best on your upcoming T.O.D.
Our friends with the cooler (we had none) who kept our water chilled the whole game.
And everyone who was shooting flares..."ARE YOU CRAZY?"
Teammates: Benn, your a good man to have on the field, with or without paint. Josh, the government gave you training so thanks for giving me my moneys worth. Bassem, thanks for not doing a lot of things! Hassan, your hard core. Bianca, just for being Bianca. Sarafina, your a great medic and hard core player; you took it to the extreme. Mark, I think you had the most fun, you even got to build and take down the tents. Saturday was the best. Robyn, "hey, calm down." Talk about getting to know other players. Was there anyone out of the 4000+ players you didn't talk to? Keep it rockin. Hilary, I hope this brought you closer to everyone on the team. You will always be one of us and look forward to playing with you in the future.
Giovanna, for giving us support where no one else would. Our absolute and humbling appreciation.
NEXT YEAR!

And there were the guys from Kingston, NY, who took a bunch of paint and Yuengling off our hands prior to the Great Departure. Let's not forget them!Originally posted by Tassel MaskMy fellow campers!

In the four years I have been attending DDay/ION, this was the worst. I will not be returning to Skirmish.
Safety was constantly an issue.
Refs were not of the best quality or quantity.
Game play itself was lackluster.
No more...Hey, look at that! It's Santa!

T.M.,
Thanks for the kudos man. I'm glad to have met you and your crew, sorry I couldn't spend more time hanging out, but the role-play was consuming all my time. I tried to find you guys after the beach assault and was hoping to recruit your crew as the Tyrell German liaison. I'll keep you guys in mind for next year, your teammate will need a new "T" tattoo anyway.
I'll let Mario know you enjoyed his welcome. Honestly he is probably one of the nicest, most honorable players you would ever have the pleasure of serving on a team with. I can't say enough good things about him and all the HellKatz. It's guys like them that keep us coming back to these events. Shark tooth man was "Shaman" or Tad IRL. He's a great guy and was up on the front lines all day. He hasn't taken the field with us in over 4 years and it was excellent having him back. I know he had fun hanging with you guys.
Oh and you are spot on about Tyrell, we're money grubbing fools that would sell our own mothers out for a dollar, wouldn't have it any other way.
Greed is good!
I'm glad you had fun, I know we had a blast. Yeah there was some overshooting/wiping/etc. but that goes with the territory in a game this big. There's also some other drama going on that doesn't even deserve mentioning. PM me for details if you want to hear the long drawn out version. You can read about most of it over at PBN though.
Hope to see you all again before then. We will probably be making a showing at either the "Battle for Berlin" or USANA sometime next month. If you get the chance, we may be able to hook up at North Mountain Paintball or PEV's. Oh, NMP will be the testing ground for the secretive Tyrell "Lawnclads" which will likely be making a debut at the next large event we attend; for rent to the highest bidder of course.

end ceremony
Did anyone stay for the ceremony at the end of the game. I would really like to know what the atmosphere was like. I mean were people on the fritz or was it like 1 happy family? How did the crowd get treated by the anouncer?
OK, thats all AO,
