PAINT usage at DDAY

help me out...for those of you that have been...how much paint do you shoot on average per day, i should be arriving tuesday or wednesday

Hey, I'll be heading down next Sunday for D-day with my mag and I'm planning to shoot around 3 cases. If you're getting there on Wednesday then 3 cases should probably be enough.

I might shoot a little more or a little less, so I have a credit card for purchasing paint on a need-to-have basis,

I have been there 3 years and have only needed a case each year.

Depends on how you play.

The beach assault is there to burn paint and drive up paint sales. It does a damn good job of it too. You can easily burn a case of paint on the beach assault alone if you play up front and hose. Then there is the final battle which can burn another case. So out of a 24 hour game (actually about 14 hours) you can burn up 2 cases in less than 3 hours.

That says nothing of the other 10 or so major firefights you will get into during the rest of the time. So if you plan on playing aggressively (and you spray and pray) plan on at least 3 cases.

Now, I have gone to ION/D-Day and not even shot a hopper full. But that's b/c I was busy negotiating and doing other prop/role-play where I avoided firefights the whole time. So YMMV.

Basically though, if you want to get into the thick of it I would plan on at least a case or two. If you want to be out in front all day long then 3. If you and Chuck Norris plan on fighting side-by-side then 3+... oh wait scratch that if you are with Chuck then you won't need any stinking paint, Chuck will take out BOTH sides with only an old 40rd box.

Al pretty much nailed it on the head. It really does depend on how you play.

I went to ION least year using a semi and a pump, and i only used one whole case.
