Its a shame this event was canceled. Kind of a hard theme to pull off a 24 hour game with.
I know this game was to be played on the West Coast, but if anyone is coming out to the Midwest in August and still wants to get in on a little TOGA action, we will be hosting our very own ANIMAL HOUSE game in Illinois near Chicago. The nice part is, its a FREE three hour MINI Scenario event. Whats a MINI Scenario? 3 hours of non stop action, BYOP event, gives everyone a taste of what Scenario play is all about without the HUGE overhead fees and costs. Very organized play, hosted by a well known Promotions company that has been around since 7/01.
This event will be hosted at Fox Paintball and run by
SPLATTERZONE PAINTBALL PRODUCTIONS.

Fox Paintball will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 5pm. The FREE Scenario will run from Noon to 3pm with the FREE prize drawing to follow the event.
All Open Game (Walk on players) will be added right into the Scenario. Open Game Speedball will be offered to players that dont want to participate in the Scenario game.
Pay the regular Fox walk on fee and the 3 hour MINI Scenario is included in the price.

All players that show up in a TOGA play as a Delta. All other players will play as an Omega. All Referees will be wearing orange TOGAS.

Again, we understand where this game was to be played, and were just trying to offer this event to the players that may be in the Illinois area at that time. SPP hosts many events at Fox each year, including 8 free three hour MINI Scenario events, two all day Scenario events, and a 6 event Young Guns tournament series.

EVERYONE should be disapointedthat this game was cancelled. We just held our ANIMAL HOUSE game at Fox PB near Chicago, and it was one AWESOME game.
The heat here has been unbearable. There were only about 40 or so Open Game players at Fox last Sat, and we need to have at least 50+ players to run a MINI Scenario event. ANIMAL HOUSE definitely brought out the players. We had well over 200+ players come out for this event. One small argument, no cheaters to be found, and everyone had a great time.
Honestly, I think you guys should try it again. This had to be one of the best events we have ever run. It all came together and ran as smooth as could be. Oh, and the FOOD FIGHT in the safe area at the end was freakin awesome too.
Seriously, the West Coast players really dont know what they missed!
