    Attacked on MXS forums

MXS has locked their forums so that only certain people may view the posts. I am not able to defend myself on those forums so I have to do so here. On Saturday June 16th Mother edited a post and added the following text.

"Also, confirmed harassing phone call to another field from Alan "Shadowfire" Carlson of Texas team No Remorse (www.noremorse.org). Truly sad that the "W.W.J.D." principle he publicly displays on his Viper forum avatar does not apply to his real life.
    Sad"

I did not call any fields or sponsors and definitely did not harass anyone. I called and spoke with Mother on the phone and she apologized and said she would remove the comment. 2 days passed and it was still up. I sent 2 e-mails and finally on Saturday one was answered and she stated that she would remove my name. It has come to my attention that she edited her post to state the following.

"I was told there was a harassing phone call to another field from a member of Texas team No Remorse (www.noremorse.org). The accused has since called and emailed me, denying doing this. I will not be the judge, jury and executioner like so many others, and so the question is: who do you believe?"

Sounds to me like she is being the judge by continuing to slander my team's name. I find it interesting that I am referred to as "the accused" as if I am on trial for something. 3 guesses as to who *I* believe!

No offense, but take this to PBN or the SpecOps Forums... and delete this thread.

If you haven't noticed, the Scenario section here on AO is quite sparse; in which case people here will, for one thing, not have any idea what you're talking about, and 2, not care enough to respond.

If you believe your team is being libeled, then seek legal representation. The fact that she is saying these things on a 'public' venue with intent to damage your reputation, and that it is in writing, you can sue for libel if you think it is worth it. Depending on your small claims system in your state, it can cost as little as $65 to file a lawsuit seeking a cease and desist, or a retraction, or a removal.

Talk with a lawyer though before you do anything as I am not one and my advice could be very wrong.
        My Feedback:
Paintball Forum : PBNation : Ebay : AO

Since MXS has locked down their forums, he may not have a case of publicly libeling him or his team. MXS is just doing what they do best..... denigrate people that point out their lack of clothing...

Is that a ditch behind me?

          I'm old... I'm slow...
And I can't see very well...
Is this gun I borrowed any good?

          {heh heh heh}

Hey, no offense taken and this is on PBN as well.

I'm sure people on these forums have heard of MXS and know a little about what is going on. If not, my post is vague enough that they will probably forget about it soon after moving to the next post. If they do know, then my purpose for posting it has been served. That purpose is the defending of my name and my team's name. I'm not really worried about people responding. Reading is enough. I don't need to be validated.

Medic, you in Iraq as military or civilian? I ETS'd in Feb of '03, shortly after that my unit was sent over there. I felt bad at first until I found out that it was dismantled and everyone was attached to other units. I would have gone anywhere with my guys but the thought of being stuck with a bunch of people I had never trained with didn't sit well with me. I have another friend that was over there then separated and went back as a civilian. I have a picture of him in Saddam's throne. Maybe I will post it when he comes home.
