In case you haven't noticed, the security lines at the airports are INSANE. The TSA is either on a slow down OR just a meltdown. Even last month we almost missed our flight to Florida from Newark after arriving two and a half hours early. Please check ahead and plan accordingly so you don't miss your flight.

How long does it take to get your known traveler number (KTN) form the TSA precheck program ?

I been waiting for them to send me mine to buy plane tickets but I may have to go ahead and pull the trigger anyway very soon.

my friend flew domestically recently and said he had no problems. my wife flew internationally and said it was fine as well. just a guess but maybe the news coverage got the message across and TSA workers and management are hashing it out.
