You can either send it to someone local or just send it to the field directly. Sending it to the field is best, as it takes the burden off the few of us that are local.
But i would pare down to the essentials of what you need. The tools, extra barrels, even extra pods(though you could probably get them in your luggage), anything you don't need is easier to package and ship.
Though, please send any jerky to me directly. I will safe guard it for Tunaball.Comment

having flown in the last 2 years here is what you face. last year I shipped my gear in a heavy duty lockable Rubbermaid box, it weighed 68 pounds counting the box and after insurance cost over $90.00 UPS one way. 2 years ago I flew my gear as my second bag, if you keep the weight under 50 lbs total it cost $35.00 the only restriction is that the valve can not still be attached to the air tanks. both times I flew into Newark and whoever designed that airport had to be drunk. getting from baggage claim to car rental with both my gear bag and suitcase was an absolute pain in the butt. there are stairs, escalators, and a train to negotiate to get to your rental car. if I remember correctly Allen and his bunch flew into either Allentown or Philly.Comment

Flying with the paintball stuff is easy.
I shipped two markers, loader, tank (with reg removed of course), and pod pack in the suitcase with two sets of paintball clothes and street clothes and kept it under 40 pounds barely.
And in an under the seat (not a carry on, they were an extra charge) sports bag I had the paintball boots, mask, jerky etc.
Its not hard, I use the Exalt tank and loader case and Inception marker cases because they are all light, and Inception reg case.

What these guys said is true, just remove the reg from the tank and pack what you need. I have been doing it for the last 7 or 8 years now. You guys have only seen a fraction of my guns for this reason. One year I shipped to Scott but you can ship to TopGun if need be, many have.......You know you want one!!Comment

I am going to try to make this work. I am in southwest Missouri but I have been craving a road trip. It is a pretty long haul though.Comment
