    X valve Leak

It started last week while playing. I keep it oiled regularly. I completely disassembled the valve, cleaned it and replaced ALL the o-rings with new ones. Leak is still there. Its more of a small "pissy" leak and seems to be coming from the mid bottom of the valve (ULT on/off or the reg pin assembly). I did try my stock on/off with no luck. I haven't yet tried a new reg pin assembly. Wiggling the bolt doesn't affect the leak or the sound of it. I tried different carriers. One thing I do notice about the leak is if I hold in the trigger after I shoot, the leak is much quieter or stops altogether but returns when I release it. Any thoughts???

Sounds like a problem somewhere in the on/off system....did you scratch the sides of the on/off at all?? Any damage to those o-rings?

No, the leak started mid-play last weekend.

Ok i had the same probelm with a NEW ULE trigger upgrade. I found that if you pull the ULT appart you should see a little tiny tiny....did i say tiny black o-ring on the on/off pin. I can get a pic some time if you need me to. I had to put the o-ring on for some reason it didnt ship with it already installed. Its hard to get on real hard because you have to watch and not bend that on/off pin. Take your ULT appart and see if that black o-ring is on it or bouncing around in there somewhere.

The tiny black o-ring on the middle of the on/off pin is one I did replace so it is there. The leak is there and doesn't change rate or pitch with either the ULT or stock on/off.

Spray some windex or some bubble blowing liquid on your gun to help locate the leak. Maybe it's the o-ring between the 2 halves of the valve.

Found the problem. I didn't know the entire end of the valve (where the bolts slides on) comes off. The o-ring on those threads needed cleaning/oil. No more leak!
