    Major leak problems.

I bought a used mag (hyper frame with RT valve, aftermarket bolt) arround 5 years ago. It was already leaking when i got it but tried to fix it with no success. It has been laying arround without ever getting used by myself since i got it. Today i aired it up and it leaked from the hole in the rear velocity adjuster so i opened it to check the oring on the piston assembly and it needs replacement but i don't have the orings right now. So i put it back together and now it won't even fire. It makes a PUFF once in a while, it leaks from the barrel and still leaks from the back.

Anyone have a clue? it would be very appreciated.

Take the valve apart and give it a good cleaning first. Inspect all orings and replace as necessary. I would do a wholesale oring change as a first order of business when buying a used mag. That way you know you are starting fresh.

To get it to fire the way it is, turn up the velocity. A leak from the barrel is usually a bad powertube oring or a powertube spacer that is too long.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

If your 'Mag is leaking out the back you have your velocity turned up too high or you have a bad piston oring. Since you said you have a bad piston oring, I would assume replacing that would do the trick. I agree about replacing ALL the orings. Go to the AGD store and buy TWO oring kits. The reason I say 2 is to replace all of the orings and to have replacements on hand. Now, I don't believe the piston oring is in there, so buy one of those too.
