A leak coming from under the bolt??

I just bought an Automag RT and am completely new to AGD products so i really need some help here. I have a leak coming from the back of the gun but its not coming from the velocity adjustment hole (so i dont think it could be the regulator piston) or the 2 holes under that. Its coming from under the bolt. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?
    -thanks

There are generally 3 places that a valve leaks.

    1) leaks out the powertube (down the barrel)

    - If the gun is equipped with a level 7 bolt, this can be fixed by replacing the powertube oring or putting a shorter powertube spacer
    - If the gun is equipped with a level 10 bolt, this can be fixed by rmoving the powertube shims and using the largest carrier that doesn't leak. Always use the same oring in each carrier as it is tried.

    2) leaks out into the grip frame.

    - This is usually either the large outer oring around the bottom half of the on-off assembly, or the smaller oring inside the bottom half of the on-off assembly.

    3) leaks out the back (either out the velocity adjustment hole or one of the side/top (depending on valve) holes)

    - clean the valve back and replace the regulator assembly piston oring. If it only leaks out the back when the velocity is turned up, then you need a new regulator piston assembly (usually only the older guns need this).
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

You have to link to an image using html or you have to upload an image using the manage attachments button, although I don't think you can upload an image right now due to AO filespace restrictions.

ok i have a classic r/t and these should be the sollution to your problems.

ok the reason that its leaking out from under the valve is more than likely the valve retaining screw and the power tube. take the valve out ant check the brass loking peice under the valve, make sure the o-rings are good. also make sure the o-rings on the retaining screw are good also, give everyhting a good lube.

next when gasing up the marker the faster you screw in the tank the better, also if it is leaking try taking a dry fire shot and sometimes everythign seals. it also looks like your velocity screw is out too far, try turning it in some this migt also solve the leaks from the front of the gun.

is it possible that a broken o-ring on the field strip bolt could do it?

                    problem solved

Moral of the story: One o-ring can do a lot.

the classic rt has a banjo bolt that has 3 orings on it where the air enters the valve.
