I need some advice/help with an old valve

I have an old Minimag valve. It is one from beofre the stars came out. Its stock.
Should I put anything on it? I heard something about holes not lining up. Any help would be appreciated.

*edit* I posted too soon. After I posted I saw that you have MiniMag 238 under your name. You have nothing to worry about. All Minimags are level 7.
