ULE and Halo B Double Feed

I've got a new ULE and every now and then I've got a double feed.

I've been told that the best solution is to cut in a second ball detent (and I plan to do it).... but I was wondering if there was anything else I could do or if there was any way to adjust the Halo B ?

depending on what board you have in your halo, you can adjust the loader's force/speed.
for example: the victory board has 6 speed settings from 17-35 bps

Luke will add another detent to your ULE for pretty cheap. I can't remember what I payed for it, but it solved all of my feeding issues.

Have you played around with the Halo or is it used? There is a mod to put two prewinds in the drivecone spring instead of one to get better burst feedrate. This also asks more out of the detents. You might want to check that out.
