    pressure question

Would a tank regulator with a 1000 psi output be good for an xvalved mag? Does the adjusting of the pressure like with the flatline improve shot to shot consistency by finding the perfect output pressure?

    Thanks

The consistency comes from the x-valve regulator. It should be able to handle any fluctuations from the bottle reg, so you won't find any sweet spot for velocity with the bottle reg.

The 1000 psi will get you a lot of reactivity on the trigger with an x-valve though. Maybe too much if you're not allowed to play with a reactive trigger.

I should add to this that, with a ULT kit for the trigger, you can adjust the reactivity by adding or removing ULT shims.

Good point. I was thinking 'stock' x-valve, but so many people order them with ULT's, the RT on/off is barely 'stock'. 1000 psi would make a very crisp ULT pull. :)
