So what is entailed in slapping an ion or spyder frame (or the frame from any other electro really) into an automag and getting it to work? What guns have the easiest frames to slap in? What frames would it be easiest to wire some sort of intellafeed type thing to (for a warp feed)?

I personally have no idea. I know I have seen many projects on here though. Try the search button on this one and you will probably find your answers. I'm pretty sure egos, and spyders are pretty easy. And I know I saw a ion one in the workshop section.

I think they will all require a ult and flipping the noid (whatever that means). Or you go the ep (electro pnuematic) route.

OK...Ion frame looks long and involved.

Now the spyder and Ego seam like they would be easy. From somone who has done it, how tough would it be?

The nice thing about an ego frame is then I can have an optical trigger instead of a microswitch.

from what ive seen the spydermag requires modification of your sear so if it were to go down youll need a new sear. an ego frame conversion is the easiest possible wya to do it.
