    hyperframe classic valve on/off?

I recently acquired a hyperframe and i want to setup this frame with my old classic valve with a rt .750 on/off dropped in, i can get the gun to fire but there is some play in the sear leg it works but is marring the bold and locking up once in awhile? I think i need a longer pin?

What pin should i be using i see that you can buy .755, .760, .765 etc... from AGD, not sure which one i should order?

Anyone have any luck with a specific size pin?

I though of bending the sear leg over a bit or welding a bit of metal on it to help the solenoid to hit the leg easier?

    Any input?

I used a .750 RT pin. With the safety removed and the marker aired up insert a thin allen wrench or similar object into the safety hole and push the leg forward. The leg shouldn't move, if it dose use a longer on/off pin. A ULT works well and I use them in 3 of my classic valve without a problem and the on/off pin length is adjustable with shims. Another tip to get your Hyper Frame to shoot reliably is to move the noid closer to the sear leg by loosening the 4 grub screws on top of the frame. There should be a slight gap @ 1/32 to 1/64 of an inch between the sear leg and noid rod when the marker is aired up. My settings with a RT on/off is 7/1/5. With a ULT and a Xvalve it's 4/1/5....

You know i was scared to buy the ULT because AGD says that it will not work with the classic valve, so if i buy it will the hyperframe shoot better then a RT on/off? Hmmm I just paid 35 bucks for the rt on/off assembly maybe i will order a longer pin and see how it shoots. I would buy a ULT if i knew it would work forsure.

I think the ult will be hit or miss wether it works on your set up.
I used a std mech RT on/off with mine and it worked great.
I also have used the hyper on/off that also worked as well.

Did you try to push the sear leg forward through the safety hole when aired up yet? If your not sure on the pin length you can buy the longest one and then file it down slow until you get a proper sear engagement.

sorry but are you using an RT pin in the hyperframe on off....or a RT pin and on off assembly?

because the RT will work but the OD of the bottom of the pin is slightly thicker than the hyperframes pin, and this added some problems of the pin pushing back quickly enough when i used it in my hyperframe on off...so i polished it down some to fit better

also if the pin is too short a good cheep way to fix the problem is to use an X ring....it will seal further down in the pins travel....is like adding .01-.02 to the length of the pin

My pin memories aka summer of love
my .750 hyperframe pin would chew the bolt and cause double firing as we all know the pin wasn't sealing the air from entering the dump chamber. i put in the .770 RT in and it stopped the chewing and double firing. then i added the x ring to try things out...the .770 RT pin wouldn't allow the dump chamber to fill with air, so i put in the .750 pin and it stopped double firing

I was using the .750 RT Pin with the RT on/off assembly. I might order the xring and the .770 pin and see what happens, i guess i can file it down if needed.

THANKS for all the info guys.....

well if you get the .770 pin you might not need the x ring at all...and vise versa
