hum... i have two frame screws, and one of them is longer than the other. is there a difference? i rebuilt my twist lock classic mag, and my barrel wouldnt go in, and i found out the spare frame screw i had was longer than my other one i use for my ULE mag. whats the deal?

maybe your spare was for a hyperframe. No biggy though, they cost me 20 cents each at my local hardware store, but I did have to file one down a milimeter or so. Depending on how far in it sticks, you could file it or go buy a shorter one. -
Or throw a washer under the head of the screw.Comment

well, im just scared that the long screw will be hit my ULE body. i have to screw it in REAL tight or else the trigger frame wobbles a little.

backyard screw shortening
find a hardware store that sells bolts, but if you just cant find them there, or steal them from something else, buy some from AGD. If you dont like either of these options take some nuts that fit and thread them on with some washers or spacers so that all the threads showing at the end are extra, then cut off the end of the screw with a hacksaw (using the nut to keep the cut strait. When you unscrew the nut it will rechase the threads. you can file a 45 degree in the end or just be careful when threading it in.Comment
