    emag help. not firing.

ok so i bought a emag lower form here and its been hell since.

charger was doa, finally got a new charger and charged battery. stuck it on the mag, lcd lights up tell me i have 1.37. dot blinks, i can change modes play with buttons. but it does not fire. it will fire in manual. no hybrid or e.

so i pulled out my meter, battery has a 18.8 charge, funny i thought it was a 16.8 battery.

hall sensor had 5 ish volts

soloniod at board has about .9 when i get the trigger to work.

i can reset the seer (pull plunger up a little) and pull the trigger, the solenoid pulls the plunger back. this is with no air.

    with air nothing happens.

    any ideas or suggestions?

I don't know if this will help, but is the trigger magnets set correctly? We know it works in mech. mode, now we have to find out how to get the emode working.

Turn everything on...then take the gun upside down and try to shoot in e mode. You should hear the solenoid click.
If there is nothing - you have to check your battery again.Even if battery voltage is normal this does not means battery is fine!Battery could be old and without any power any more!To check this, try to empty her and put in the charger for 1,5 hour, then immediately put on the gun and try to fire in e-mode.
If gun shots couple times and then stops - REPLACE YOUR BATTERY.
If gun does not show any life, check you sear and plunger length. If this does not help try to replays your solenoid. If also this does not help - your e-board i dead!

Hope something off all this will help you!

Start a user account at http://www.niedtech.com Lorne has some great advice on tunning and specs on the emag. I think your plunger sear rod may be bent or to short/long or your noid may be dirty inside. You can clean it out with some electrical cleaner or a metal polish like Braso or Mothers chrome polish. Niedtech is running low on xmod programers, so it a great time to pick one up. His software gives you complete control over your emag's board just like all the rest of the high end boards out there. http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=219652

i will check everything out then get back. thanks guys. of course the guy who sold it isnt responding

i do think that the trigger magnets are okatleast i can pull the rail off, put my finger between the frame and the back of the seer and fire. i can feel teh weight on the seer, but it really doesnt seem like its strong enough.

Really sounds like a connection problem, out of adjustment plunger rod, or a dirty noid...

Keep the whole gun together and pull the valve out. You can then hold down on the top of the sear where the on-off sits. Fire the gun with your finger holding this area. You can feel the sear moving when you fire.

                    1.37 is AGD firmware.

18.8v is perfect for a good battery.

I would check the solenoid plunger length to see if it is within spec. Too short and it won't have the power to fire the gun while aired up.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
