I need help with a 88 CI PMI tank regulator

I have a used 3000 psi 88 ci Tank. I just had it hydro'd today. I also had it filled. It is leaking air out of the little hole at the top of the reg. Whats wrong with it?

    Thanks for the help

sounds like your pin valve needs replacing. dont mess with it while its full though. take it back to the shop and they should be able to fix it. you can still use the tank as is but its going to have to stay screwed in.

no. once the tank is completely screwed in, it would act normally, however, if the pin is broken, it may disrupt the airflow out of the pin valve, sounds like it isnt seated properly though.
