    steel braided hose question.

    hi, i was wondering how much of a bent will break a standerd hose length because im kinda afraid to break he hose and not knowing that it broke when i play. thanks

    I'm pretty sure you can bend it as much as the material allows. Although I wouldn't suggest it, I've seen some guns set up with the hose actually kinked and they didn't have any problems with air flow or bursting.

      all air line should be set up either straight with slight bends or smooth flowing curves due to the question your asking ; cant see inside them , the stainless is just a cover , there is high psi plastic tubing inside , any KINK will affect the life & the air flow of said hose

        Hi,

        I know in piping it is radius of the pipe times 5 for min bend. When I made hydraulic hose, the same formula applied. Air line would be no different in my book. Just avoid kinks and you will be fine. Kinks will weaken the material you are working with
