    Glued barrels

I just picked up a glued two piece u/l barrel. And I was wondering what the best way to seperate them would be?

I thought about heating it up, but not sure if that would mess up anything. Already tried to muscle them apart but that didn't work

So if anyone has seperated a glued together barrel...clue me in

    Heat is your best bet.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

why would you want to seperate them? They are not screwed, and you will probally never be able to get them straight again.

I want to seperate them because I like the gloss finish and you cant buy the gloss finish new anymore, it's dust colors now. But you did answer my other question about the thread, if they are not threaded than I no longer have the desire to seperate them.

          Thanks

I used a heat gun to do this before shippnig it to be annodized, then glued it back together snug.
