Reactor High Performance On/Off- Do I even need it?

I have two of the newer Sydarms and I also have two of the "Reactor High Performance On/Off Assembly". Then I read somewhere that the Reactor on/off was really just an upgrade for older valves, and that my newer Sydarm would have come with an updated (but stock) on/off that was comparable to the Reactor on/off.

Do I bother to put the Reactors in the Sydarms to try and lighten the trigger pull?

People have had problems with aftermarket on-offs in automags. Use the reactors at your own discretion. The new updated on-off tops don't provide a lighter pull. If you want a lighter trigger pull, use a retro valve on-off assembly.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

Can I just swap my stock on/off for the retro valve on-off assembly? Do I keep the pin or use one that comes with the retro valve on-off assembly?

      Thanks

The entire on-off assembly needs to be swapped, pin included.

Thanks, I'll try it again and see how I feel about the trigger pull.

Now I have two reactor on/offs for eBay.
