xmod 1.8 help

i just picked up some lowers with the Xmod 1.8 on them my problem is i have no idea how to navigate the board, switch modes, what does what, etc...anyone know where i download a manual?

I tried downloading the pdf and it only goes about a third of they way and hangs. I did right-click-save-target-as and the file that downloaded has acrobat say it's damaged and won't open.
