Ok...How is it done?

I have a spyder E-99 Classic and I'm thinking about making a spydermag like many have mentioned here before. How was it done? I have a minimag that I want to convert. Since the spyder is electromechanical and the minimag is mechanical, is it possible to make the spydermag EM as well?
