    Nitrogen Tank Certification - IL

I'm dusting off the marker after a 2 year paintball hiatus and I noticed that the tank that came attached to my Flatline is expired. Anyone know where I can get it tested and re-certified In the Chicago area?

Also, I've never messed with regs or anything as my mag was the first gun I had which had a tank with one and the Flatline has never had a problem. Any tips on taking it off if I need to buy a new tank?

I choose hydrotesting for my stuff i usually get it back within a week. the local fire depts and scuba shops have destroyed more regs than i care to speak of.

Yeah, I took it to a local scuba shop for hydro testing but they said they couldn't help me. Something to do with the tank's size.

24 hour turnaround. I've sent several tanks to them and always had them back very quickly.

Thanks Robnix, I'll ship my tank off to those guys. I was on the phone all morning with local companies that do hydrostatic testing but none of them were willing to do it cause A: They hate dealing with small tanks B: It's not cost-effective for them as it's a rare occasion to see a PB tank.

If you can't find a local alternative, I can have it done through my local shop. They charge $25.00, but take about 10 days. Postage would be my cost to send it back to you.
