    T2W Automag Stock without Remote?

    Hi all,
I'm contemplating the build of my new second Tac-One, and I'm planning on using the T2W stock with a small tank, as well as the longbow kit. My question is, am I able to run the gun without using a remote line, with the standard ASA; but with a T2W stock?

    Thanks!~

You will probably have to use a drop forward. Ive been contemplating picking one of those stocks up myself.

    Have you considered running remote?

If you are planning on running tank-on-gun there is really no reason to put a stock on since you can use the bottle for stability.

I can't speak to whether the tank will fit under the stock or not. That's going to depend on the tank size and, as BigEvil point out, you may need a drop forward. You will need longer 10-32 screws (obvious, I know). On the occasions that I use a warp feed with the T2W stock, I have to switch out the stock screws for longer ones to accomodate the warp feed bracket and the stock mounting plate.

EDIT: I just caught the part about the longbow kit. You are going to use the longbow kit but with a T2W stock?

From my understanding the LongBow Kit contains:

          The Longbow Magazine System
The Airgun Designs Stock Adapter Shroud
          The Longbow Air-thru Stock

using that setup, a standard asa should work with little trouble depding on your tank size/configuration.

If your not using the Longbow Air-thru stock and the T2W stock instead then that may create some other issues. However; from the pics of the T2W stock it seems as if you could use a standard asa with little trouble but its really going to depend on the size/configuration of the tank (peanut/stubby or traditional). You may even benefit from a spacer between the asa and the stock to help give the tank some fit room. The other consideration will be your config of the stock itself - high and tight or long and low.

A full drop forward may help the balance of the marker, but doesnt seem totally necessary.

Is it do-able, yes. Are there some variables to consider... absolutely.

and yes longer screws will be an obvious must have.
