Having a little trouble with my automag classic

I have a automag classic and i'm having trouble with air blowing through the barrel every time i air it up. Do i need to just rebuild the valve? If so, does anyone know where to get a rebuild kit for it?

There's a video around here somewhere that you can download. It's the one that used to come with the old Classics and Minimags. Has a great trouble shooting section in the last 1/3 of it. Also explains in fine detail how to strip and maintain your 'Mag. INCLUDING how to deal with air leaking down the barrel.

Rebuild kits are available from http://www.airgundesignsusa.com/ . A double kit is $20.

If you got a Lvl 7, it sounds like wrong power tube spacer.
      This space for rent.

Your power tube oring is probably missing or damaged. Here is a picture of what it should look like http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=194223 part number 14 also try replacing the bolt spring. You can also look here for more information http://www.airgundesignsusa.com/down...plodedview.pdf

Or the powertube spacer is too long. I'd check the powertube oring first, as mentioned, then check the sear for wear. Wear on the sear can cause the bolt to sit farther forward. This is often why a shorter powertube spacer is needed.

Try holding the trigger when you gas the gun up. It helps set the orings when you quickly release the trigger.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
