    On/off pin length problem

So I bought an adjustable tank so I could get the RT effect more easily. Well It's too easy...even with an 850psi tank. So I assume my on/off pin is too short. I have no way at the moment to measure it precisely. I looked at the airgun site and saw that they go all the way to .770 How can I figure out which one I need without buying several pins?? My set up is X-valve.. rt on/off..and Alpha rail. Also I tried this on a AM/MM rail and it was slightly slower but still too fast as in no way to get a single shot. It stops when I let off the trigger but I want/need to be able to fire single shots for chronoing and safety reasons.

Get a long one and with a file or dremel or something, shorten it down to how you like it. That's what I'd do anyway. Or you could always get a ULT, so you could adjust the seal point.

I thought about doing that. I would rather buy the right length but I might just get the longest and try filing. I already have a ULT and it works fine I just want to get the stock on/off working properly.

I assume you mean the top one? I will try it. So if that goes bad it will cause it to become to reactive?

OK I replaced the oring. Held the trigger while airing up and it went full auto. Let of the trigger and it stopped now it won't fire. WhenI pull the trigger there is pressure on it but the rod won't budge. I know the on/off pin slipped off the sear it's been doing this. I still think the pin is too short. Does this sound correct?? I'm gonna call AGD tomorrow and see what pins they have I need something by Friday!

In a mech IIRC the pin should be either .760 or .750. The shorter the length the faster it will RT

Thanks guys I ordered a .750 pin last night. Yeah that's what I thought to Big Evil since everything else seemed to be normal...good o-rings etc. Thanks again for the suggestions.
