    Just got my TAC-ONE...Need help!!!

I just received my brand new Tac-one and all I can say is "WHA?" After carefully reading the documentation provided about the marker set up and operation I gassed up my marker, and took a few pulls of the trigger. I had read about the short stroking of the trigger causing the bolt not to seat all the wake back. As it stands, I can only cycle MAYBE 5bps. I was under the impression that this could cycle as fast as I could pull the trigger. I followed the instructions about lubricating the marker with no effects that I could notice. No paint has been cycled through this marker. Only dry firing. Is there a break in period for this or do I have a problem? If I have to send this back I am going to be highly upset with AGD.

    Here is the set up:
standard TAC-one with ULE trigger kit factory installed and air hose factory installed
    Bottle has 3000psi

I need to get this thing up and running as I have a 26 hour scenario next month.

You will probably hear better from some of the others but as I understand it, the ULE trigger kit actually slows the RT effect if that is what you are trying to do.

As for sticking and all of that, when my friend got his we had to lube it real well and run about a tank of air thru. I went as far as to lube the 2 places on the valve, a few drops in the asa, and some where the bolt runs. After about a tank it was running smooth.

Standard hp output. 800 psi. I made sure that I had the right support equipment before i ordered it. The techs from AGD answered all of my questions thoroughly before I bought it.

try taking out the Ule ant put in the stock RT on/off and see if it fires. if it does fire fine you might have to take out some shims. Thats what i had to do to mine.

No offense trucker, but I want it to work the way I paid for it. If I take out the ULE, then I just spent money I didn't have to for a product that doesn't work as designed. I'd would send it back for a full refund before I did that. I just want it to operate as it is supposed to.

Lol, mushroom. He was suggesting to use the stock trigger to see if the problem was with your ULE trigger OR if the problem was something with the Xvalve. Not to replace it with the stock trigger and live with it.

i think what trucker is trying to say is that you should take out your ult and put the stock on off pin in then if it works with it put the ult back in but with less shims

But shouldn't it have been working when it left the factory? I mean if I bought a brand new car and it needed maintenance done when I picked it up, I would have a major issue too.

Well technically it DOES work. :) I've been reading on Tac-ones for like 2 weeks now. Every single person says the same thing. When you get it you need to tune it the way you want it. Then it will ownface. Perhaps when they test it before they box it they have an input PSI of 900. Hence, to them the gun was owning, but hooked up to your equipment, it's a little off. They just give you the brush, you have to paint the picture. :)

I betting that it just needs to be lubed. It has probably been sitting on a shelf settling since it was built. Do I just putt a few drops of oil in the bottle adapter and gas it up? Or is there anything else I should do? I want to keep from taking it down as much as possible.

Take the barrel off, put a few drops in the ASA, gas it up. Give it about 500 shots for the valve to get all lubed and in the right places. If it's still shorting like that, It's probably the trigger, and you just need a shim like trucker said.
