Autococker leaking out of stock reg

Trying to set up my autococker and it's leaking out of the reg air is coming out of the little port.

Does it mean it's set to high/low?

Do I screw in to raise the pressure or screw out?

stock reg(ergo/bm reg etc...turning inward increases pressure..

more than likely an oring needs replacing or a clean and lube if it is leaking..

      Thanks, I did further testing.

What I don't get is, the leaking will stop after 30 seconds or so.

It's like the reg is filling up or something, is this normal for cockers?

Total edit.... I just assumed this was about an automag.

That little hole is the atmospheric port that the reg uses to "see" the local outside pressure. It's also there to act as a safety vent in case one of your Orings leaks. And one of them IS leaking.

There's typically two Orings in the regs. One on the piston and one in the lower body around the power or transfer tube. The spot in between holds the spring or bellvile washer stack and that's the part that is vented.

I'd say it's getting very close to time to rebuild the reg with new Orings.
