Currently have the lvl 7 in it. I left it gassed up and walked away for 10mins and it fired once?

Did you grease (Lithium grease if I recall correctly from 15 years ago) your reg's spring pack? Definitely sounds like it took a long time to build the pressure needed to overcome the bolt spring/o-ring stiction.

Ok, so I have to ask. What is the output pressure of your HPA tank? It seems most everything else has been covered.

Also, I probably missed it, but have you replaced all the parts inside with a new kit?

And did you try loosening the front frame screw just a bit to see if it shot?

            I've have 4 tanks all over 800.
New oring kit reg springs all greased.
Ive been playing with the frame screws with no results yet.

I took the spring off the bolt and held my finger against the bolt tip, and it fires, "ouch" dont want to do that to many times.

Ok, the problem is that the reg isn't building enough pressure to overcome the bolt spring/o-ring stiction.

                Could be:
                1. Too low an input pressure (if your tanks are over 800psi, it probably isn't your tanks, unless you have another inline reg between your tanks and the mag reg)
                2. Reg not delivering enough pressure (most likely. lemme dig for a min.)
                3. The Gardners.

Does your reg have 2 springs like an X-valve, or 1 spring pack?

                    double spring pack.

no inline reg. macro line from the drop asa to the reg

Here is another thought. Do you have a filter inline anywhere from the ASA to the valve?

You never said...when you got it to fire with no bolt spring, was that with the LX or Lvl 7 bolt?

                          lvl 7 and no filter.

Have you taken out the regulator valve pin assembly and check for damage or an obstruction ( like teflon tape )

Several times, tomorrow I'll get my other rt reg valve pin assembly and try it.

If this pin is bad (looks fine) could this be the reason why it will not vent out the back with the velocity maxed out?

If there is an obstruction there that prevents a good flow of gas, its possible . Does the pin come out easy or is it hard to remove ?
