    Warpfeed and Power Feed plug

I haven't bought a warpfeed yet, but I'm planning on getting one soon. I had one question. The warpfeed instructions say if your attaching the warp to a powerfeed body that a the supplied long parabolic feedplug is required. I was planning on cutting down my powerfeed tube and using a regular size plug. Is the standard one parabolic? Where do I get a regular sized parabolic powerfeed plug? I mean if its to big of a deal I guess I'll just not cut the feed down and us the big plug.

That depends on the age of your 'Mag. If it's newer, it should have the updated plug, but if you picked it up and it's old and you're not too sure of how old it really is, I'd say stick with the long plug.

Also, it'd be a guessing game where you cut the powerfeed tube. You would have to get it to where the plug feeds straight into the chamber and I don't think you are going to use precision equipment? Regardless of how you hack at it, you'd ruin the body for anything else. I suggest you play with the long plug for a little bit before you take a hacksaw to your body incase you hate the warp.

      This should help:

This is the forum for trouble shooting your Airgun Designs products, including the Automag, RT, E-Mag, and WarpFeed. Also a great place to ask technical questions about non AGD products. An Airsmith's homeroom!

I disagree with it being hard to cut the powerfeed, though. Just cut it down so the top section is the same length as the bottom section. Still, you should just use the long plug for a little to make sure you really want to stick with the Warp and still want to cut your body. I didn't cut mine so I could slap a hopper on top of I needed to.

I cut my powerfeed without incident. It's amazing how precise you can be using old school tools...in my case, a decent large hand file to flatten the top edge after cutting with a Dremel. If you're not comfortable doing it, then maybe you can get grandpa to do it for you
