Emag battery pack - weight reduction

    To further reduce weight:

Has anyone modified an Emag Battery pack to run on a pair of Ni-Mh 9 volts?

Or has anyone tapped into the Emag Battery to run a Halo?

    Answer to question

You cannot run 2 9v battaries on the Emag. It will show the display but wont have enough AMP's to power the solenoid.

You can relocate the battery pack though. I had 2 RC packs 9.6volts which made up 18+ volts and 2800ma It ran my warp and halo. Mounted it in a neoprene cover that fit my tank. When that pack depleted, I could swap in the 2nd made battery pack in between games.

I have an extra Emag barebones frame if you care to tinker. Will post it up on BST fourms next weekend along with other parts.

    Hoped it helped.

I was able to run 2 9v's on my emag but not Ni-mh batteries. I had about 625 mAh in each one. I had a dead battery pack so i took the terminal from it and connected it to the two 9v's which i ran in series. It was just a temporary solution until my new battery pack came, but it lasted me an entire day of play and it was lighter than the usual battery pack.
