    RT function of the X-valve

I want to know how to make the X-valve not RT. Would just using a 800 psi output tank be sufficent.

I want to know because the woodsball leauge that my team is on will no allow RT and sutomatic fire modes. I have a classic but a teamate just bought an X-valved mag.

Another question: what is the difference between the AM/MM sear and the X-valves sear/ Lvl 10, if any?

Get a ULT and it will not have RT effect, or put in a classic on/off.

Yep, a properly-tuned ULT will kill the bounce while making your pull short and crisp. When worn in, they are walkable.

ULT = 15 oz pull @ 800 psi. Makes fanning the trigger very fast.

Someone correct me if Im wrong here**

The sear is relavent to the rail your using.

An E-Mag has an E-Mag rail that is simular to the RTP (or vice versa) so they fit the same sear,.. but differ mechanically on the sear themselves. Specifically the E-Mag. It has an "extra" piece to connect the solenoid to, where the RTP is an all manual trigger and is "stock"

Go to the online store and look at the emag sear, then the RTP sear,.. you can see the difference.

Sorry bout the scatter words in the post,.. its late and I just got out of class.

If you use a level 10 and a 800psi tank, there is a good possibility that you won't get much retro bounce. The level 10 operates at a higher chamber pressure and therefore makes less pressure differential between input and chamber. Its the pressure differential combined with the retro on-off pin assembly that creates the retro effect. A ULT on-off assembly will definately reduce the retro effect.

The only difference between the AM/MM sear assembly and the retro sear assembly is the rail that they fit. An xvalve can be ordered with either sear. The AM/MM sear only fits the classic rail. The retro sear only fits the retro/emag rails.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

              not to thread jack but,

Does the gun go faster with just plain x valve using the rt bounce or faster with the ult with hardly any bounce but a light trigger pull?

ULT or not,.... x-valve going reactive is faster.

It has been said the ULT limits somewhere around 20-22bps or cps (i forget).

The limit is by design and engineering. Tom said this in a post a while back if memory suites me.

Only in one case personally have I seen a ULT break 26bps. I have the valve set aside to take it apart and try to duplicate the issue in a different gun. I call it an issue because the park asked my brother to not use the gun anymore that day. A park where reactive triggers are allowed.

                Now,.. back on topic!!!!

The ULT is completely dependent on how fast you can pull the trigger without enhancements.

The rt bounce can be faster but is more sporatic and not as easily controlled.
