    EMag Board Replacement

I just came into an Emag which has seen better days. Once past the starter issue of battery corrosion, the Board seems to be dead.

as my username suggests, i am primarily a mechanical mag user, dont know much about the emags. Would it be better to replace the board with an OEM AGD board or is there another alternative out there to consider and would i be able to DIY the project (i have little to no electrical experience).

    recomendations/suggestions?

If I were going to put a new board in, I would put in an aftermarket one. They are cheaper and offer more firing modes. I used a predator board in an emag I had. It worked great. There are many other options as well. Shop around for a good price.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
