High or Low pressure....?

This is probaly a dumb question but you always hear of how a marker shoots at low pressure, or high pressure. About what PSI does a 68 classic automag shoot at, and does it matter what kind of N2 tank you get for it... Does it have to be a High pressure tank or low pressure tank?

The classic valves shoot around 400-500 I think. They mention it in the instructional video.

But for your tank you want a high pressure input. This keeps the recharge rate as high as possible.

If its a screw in ASA with fixed setting, get 850/900 psi output High Pressure tank.

All markers (high or low pressure) put about the same amount of pressure behind the ball. I believe it's <100psi coming out of the bolt in pretty much every single marker ever made. High or low pressure only really matters when talking about the chamber pressure of the marker. It's just another gimmick that sells markers.

You need a high pressure tank for a mag.

The automag reg controls down to around 400-450psi. It needs much more than that to fill the valve with any practical speed, which means a high pressure tank around 800 psi.
