    I thought this wasn't possible?

I thought Logic frames only allowed the triggers Logic uses, but that is a v1 Logic vert frame with an RPG Viperblade. I talked to the owner, and he said there was no problem popping it right in, but I clearly remember Rogue saying that his triggers didn't fit Logic products...

Was I misinformed, or is it dependent on the frame? I'd love to get a new trigger for my UMF or vert frame.
    Any ideas?

Wow... this is too weird. I just PMed Luke about this very issue this morning (cause I have a UMF and I'm interested in a different trigger), and now this thread shows up.

      I can sense the future!

But yes, I also thought this was impossible. Maybe it's an older vert frame, and Luke has since changed the specs on the newer frames, like the UMF. (If you look carefully, the red frame doesn't have a safety, or at least not in the safe spot at the raw frame. Maybe that's why the trigger fits.)

The frames are different right behind the trigger pin, i wonder if this has something to do with it.

So I PMed Luke, and this is what he told me.

You should be able to use a Viperblade just fine if you were to find some shims to use on either side of the trigger up at the top, and you didn't mind not being able to use the safety anymore.

You might also have to file a little bit on the top where it hits the frame in the front, IDK how Rogue's triggers are shaped.

I don't think it's impossible by any stretch, it's just not going to be a drop it in and go kind of deal. Custom work is sometimes easy, but sometimes it's a real *****. But hey, if it were always easy, they'd have a bunch of girl scouts doing it.
I really like that last part of his PM.

It sounds like if you got some shims (really small washers, maybe?) the conversion would be possible. Anyone have a Viperblade and a UMF so they can try it out? Heck.... I'd buy one right now if they weren't out of stock all the time.

I think Rouge just says his triggers don't fit because technically they don't. Better than saying they should work and having people screw it up and blame him.
