    Major X-Valve Problems

Last weekend at a scenario game, my tac one(with x valve/lvl 10) cronoed fine at around 260.

After about 40 minuntes I left and cronoed again for the hell of it at the cronograph read 370.
There was no major temp change outside it was a solid 40 deg out all day.

I didnt even think even think such high velocity was possible. I go to lower it and I turn the velocity down but the FPS readings were still remaing extremely high. I couldnt get it under 350 at least. Then, air starts severly leaking out the hole in the back of the X valve where you put the allen key to change velocity.

Now the gun leaks like all hell out the valve when I air up. I broke down the xvalve and all orings seem to be intact. The leak is not due to over rotating the velocity too much. I have it set midway and it still does this. So my mag is crippled right now. Ive had it for a couple years now and have had 0 problems except for this.

Anyone know what this could be?

I'm thinking maybe the reg piston, but not 100% sure.

I dont have a mag but my tac one is on the way.
I do have prior gun ownership though.

Yup, would have to be the reg or reg seat. Look for debris and check/replace that reg seat, and check the pin for burrs/dings on the face.

Unless of course you were trying to run CO2 into an X-valve which would be ludicrous.
