    making 45* tank reciever

Im haveing trouble finding a 45 degree tank reciever, so im thinging of having one made. I figured if i get 2 tank extension adaptors i could get someone to cut them to the desired angle and weld them back together i would have what i wanted. Since have no welding experience i would have someone do it for me. MY question is would welded aluminium be able to handle the air pressure from my tank? Any experience or ideas would be great. Thanks

when a weld is done properly, it can be just as strong if not stronger than the original metal, but when it comes to 850 psi+, I wouldn't trust just any Joe Blow with a welder. If you get this done, make sure the guy knows what it's for and that he's good enough to do it and not get you or a buddy killed.

Would it be better/safer to make it out of steel instead, its small it not much weight in it.

are you having this come off the bottem of the grip, or off the forward end of a mag rail?

may have to go with 3 dbn 15 degree tank entensions. Be safer and probable cheaper then having on made but these dont have a depression pin so ill have to add another extension like a sp inline on/off extension.
