    ? about Micromag trigger frame

I tried to do a search, but my question wasn't answered.

I bought a Micromag of ebay and the trigger assembly is loose/messed up. I would like to get a new trigger frame/assembly. What will bolt directly to the Proteam Micromag frame?

It does seem to have a diffrent rail than my classic and minimag.

Also, Can I swap out the MicroMag valve assemby for a new X-Valve w/ lvl 10?

Any frame for an RT style rail or that has the wings milled off.

And yes the X valve will work.

Post a pic of your new toy.

You dont need to mill the wings off to make it fit a micromag body and yes you can use any valve except the classic RT valve. One thing about the micromag and the level 10 some of them you had to sand down bolt a little to make it work.

I have 2 micromags. lvl X fits in one but not the other.
          Xvalve not a problem. :)

Some older micromag bodies require the wings on the trigger frame to hold the sear pin in place. Check your micromag body to see if the sear pin is treaded in or not. If it is treaded in you don't need the wings, if it is not threaded, you need a winged frame.

Micromag bodies don't have as close of tolerances as regular mags, that's why some LX's don't work as well in them. Only way to know is to try. Otherwise they are supposed to fit an x valve.

A buddy of mine made a small plate of aluminum with 2 small screws to hold his sear pin in place because he ran into the same problem "Smilestyler" was talking about with the wings holding the sear pin in place and not a threaded one.

If you dont want to try that, you might want to contact someone like "Luke" of Luke Customs and see if he would thred a sear pin or 2 for you and thread the hole as well.

              Just an idea.

When this happened to me once at the field, I put a small drop of silicone in the hole inside of the rail/body and lasted the whole season
