What is probably happening, is that the ram is trying to fire the gun faster than it is resetting. Try and cram 3 more shims in and test it out.

that what i suspect is happening. try put more shims in the lx or in the ult? i ran the ult with 2 shims and it would go full auto on me. i have the ult with one shim right now. im goin to try running the red spring tomorrow and see what happens.

With pneumags you have to make sure that there is about 1/16th of an inch room between the sear leg and the ram when the gun is aired up. I think this is referred to as 'pre-travel. Check that out too. If the gun is going full auto, the it is possible that the ram is not retracting as fast as the sear is resetting. Thus, the sear is hitting the ram and firing the gun.

i adjusted my trigger stop gave the sear a little bit more back travel and now it shoot great. i did take a look at the pre travel gap and there is barely any. that might be causing the chuff every once in a while. im going to pull the piston out and grind it down a bit more to widen the pre travel gap.
