    steel or macro

I have a stock valve and need to hook up an airline to it. What would be worthwhile to install without having the line loop around the gun and being in bothersome places?

steel ftw. It wont blow out, and hardly ever leaks.

What kind of positioning did you have in mind? Many use a foregrip or expansion chamber so they can get their hose to a bottomline setup and not have the hose in the way of where they would put their hand.

I personally like stainless steel. It looks right on a classic mag and is pretty much hassle free. No worries about cracks or bursts. Lasts pretty much forever. Depending on the setup you may want a quick disconnect so you can easily remove the valve. If you have your air setup routed alongside the body of the gun it can scratch when it rubs.

Mann is right, braided line will be the strongest and the safest. I have this on a few of my Mags. I must state that I do run macro on several of my Mags with no problem whatsoever. If you choose macro make sure you get top quality such as what Tuna sells. There is a difference.

Definately Steel Braided. Then get some heat shrink tubing and make it black. It looks so sick!!!

Steel if you can. I have used macro for a while and I've had it blow up on me on a few times, and I've seen it happen to others even more. I never have really trusted macroline, I just use it because it is convenient. I guess that's a pretty stupid move on my part.

just my .02 but on a mag, definitely steel. when I got mine I had macro on it trying out a few different setups, gas thru grips and such. I've used macro on just about every other marker i've owned and never had a problem aside from the usual minor leaks around the sealing bits, but its all come around and I now have a nice big steel braided line going directly from the on/off ASA to the valve. Works well and looks sexay.

I use both right now on different mags, so I'll add my .02. The macroline and fittings that macrolineguy sells are top notch. The fittings seal extremely well, and his macroline is both strong and flexible.

I second the macrolineguy macro. The nice thing about macro is you don't need extra length for valve removal.
