    broken boom stick

Any ideas on how to fix an old boom stick? I got it with my classic mag of ebay a while ago. My previous experience had been tippmanns and i did not know what boom stick was. Any way, i thought it was a threaded barrel and being very stupid I yanked on it with a vice and a pipe to turn it. No, I did not scratch it but after i got it apart it was not threaded !!! I took to my local paintball store and learned the truth on what a good barrel it was. I tryed to fix it with super glue but it come loose after a while. Maby epoxy? Am I the only one stupid enough to break a boom stick?
    help me

Yes... You can reglue boomsticks back together, but you need a high strength epoxy that's designed for metal. Just go to your hardware store and look around at what they got. And don't be stingy. This is a boomstick, after all.

Oh... and make sure that it's perfectly straight when you glue it back together, or... well... I'm sure you get the picture.

yeah people take 2 piece barrels apart, especially if it has an aluminum front and a stainless back, and you are getting the front annoed

I remember a few years ago, when glued boomsticks were more common, that if you would send it into dye they would regule it for you.

I would give them a call and see if they are still willing to do this for you. That way you know it is strait and lined up.

It's pretty easy to do yourself - the tolerances between the back and front are generally pretty good. I redid an old all-american barrel that had become unglued due to a decade of paint sitting on it and all it took was a couple careful dabs of regular old epoxy, keeping far away from the bore.
