Myth Reg and Mags Compatability ????

So I was wondering if anybody is using a myth reg'd 4500 tank with they're mag. If so is it working fine or are there any issues I need to be aware of.

I'm running an E-max valve with Level 10 and ULT installed and a stainless braid hose (if that matters).

Just want to make sure I won't have any issues on the field- hopefully no shoot down. As long as I can bust out a 3-6 shot burst without shoot-down I think I'll be fine.

I remember someone saying that they come standard in 450 psi, you have to ask for anything higher which i think is close to 900.

Id get it filled and check it out first, you dont wanna go down to the field just to find that you cant play.

The original Myth were mid pressure (600 psi) which is too low for a mag to run on. But last I heard from Guerrilla Air, they were suppose to have the HP version now (850 psi).

I thought 850 was standard on the myth

it's supposed to be a mid pressure reg. So the 600 sounds about right.

I'm gonna see how good/bad it is on my mag this saturday. So I guess I'll found out first hand

I called guerilla air about the out-put pressure and was told that all recent regs are around 800 to 850 psi. I got one to use on my Mini and Dm6 but I'll try it out on my mags just to see for myself.

I was able to use mine today. I was good for 3-4 shot burst after that I got shoot down. I'm not sure what the output was exactly though. But it wasn't enough to try to shoot ropes, but I play with a pocket hopper so it helps me make sure I make my shots count. I like it fine for the style of play I do. But if I wanted to shoot more/faster I definatly need a differant reg.

stick a gauge onto an ASA and find out the output pressure

with all the knockoffs of that reg floating around i'm not sure i'd even want to buy one in the first place, even if the output was high enough to run my mags.

They're cheap enough directly from Guerrilla after the floating fakes incident. I got mine directly from Guerilla - they exchanged the knockoff for a real one no charge. I also use the bottle with the myth for my Ss-25 so it works out fine for me.

I'll see if I can find the right type of gauge to check the output of the myth.

output stock is around 700 psi

they are adjustable regs, you just need a spring pack from guerrila, or to add the correct shims. this should only be done by a certified airsmith.

well, i have a myth n ive been runnin it on a classic n an rt with no probs wat so ever. the myth is the best tank reg ive used, tho i've only used crossfires n pure energy's

only prob ive had with the myth is it's shortness, ironicly enough. i have to take off the nipple protector to screw it into my drop

I have a Myth and it's horrible in both mags. Actually, it's horrible with any marker I own that's not LP. It's output is too low for them to operate. Now my FUKU reg on the other hand...is awesome with ALL my markers.
