    Is This Design Flawed?

Ok i had an idea for a fully auto mag pistol that runs off co2

classic mag body and all the internals and such

    Ult mod

Spydermag Mod with this providing that the noid is in the same position

springfeed made by noxx well say 18 balls

and a facing forward 12 gram changer and maybe expansion chamber because this will be experiencing relatively high bps

anything wrong with this ... in theory it works fine. but any ideas you have that might make it better... once i have cash flow its a project i have in mind...

full auto pistol as backup for whatever..

Main problem is, as you guessed it, CO2 and rapid fire.

An expansion chamber will probably have enough volume to lower the supply pressure too much, unless you use a check valve (think HPA fill nipple).

High BPS with a 18-round "hopper"? That'll run out quick

and High BPS doesn't work on 12-g's at all. Maybe with a dropout changer you could keep them from being frozen in place, but talk to someone a little more knowledgeable on 12-g's, cuz I'm pretty sure that most mags are lucky to get 18 shots off a 12-g, and that efficiency on 12-g's goes down quick when shooting fast. Then you've got frozen o-rings..

Maybe use a large expansion chamber that you fill up with a siphon tank. Then at least you've got a) an X-chamber and b) something which doesn't bottleneck the gas so much (the holes in the ends of 12-g's are very small, therefore gas compresses to go through at a good flow, and once it compresses, bam, you've got liquid)

Yeah, on C02 and high rates of fire. This equals worn out and broken o-rings, a very cold valve and a chuffle that just chokes your Automag. Any Automag is a beautiful one, you don't want to choke her now do you. If you absolutely want to run CO2 or 12's, I would go with a Palmer Stabilizer, an air line setup from ASA to Vert ASA and from Vert ASA to Valve, using a long braided line that hooks over the feed or enough to coil up so that the CO2 has alot of area to travel and expand.

Are you playing with JUST this gun or is this some sort of backup? You CANNOT rapid fire, it's just not possible, otherwise go with a pocket hopper and 3.5oz

With 12grams and efficiency in general, you place the 12 gram as close to the valve as possible. Pretty much - Valve (some sort of airline in between) ASA with 12 gram changer.

I suggest using a dual ended 1/8 NPT male fitting connected to a phanton vertical ASA which has a 12g changer screwed on it. Closest air source to valve I can think of at the moment.

Expansion chambers and regulators are not friends of 12 grams, they make them

EDIT: A full auto backup is equalvalent to a death knell, forget spraying at that point. If you want a backup, something light and accurrate is what you should aim for if it came down to using it, and you need to put time and be proficient with it, otherwise you might as well fight em off with a squeegee. 18 balls is a HUGE springfeed btw, measure it and add another 2 or 3 inches for spring compression and plug.

just get a pgp and 1 ball it i have owned a mag pistol ,4 pumpmags running on powerlets, a tib 8, a pgp ,pt ,and a pt extreame the only one i kept was the pgp and not as a back up i learned as a sniper just carry the extra 10 rounds in a cigar or 10 round tube its lighter and 99 percent of the time ull never use the back up full auto pistol is useless ull use all the shots up to fast buyy a talon or prp and practice in the back yard shooting at a bottle

I believe that he still has his PGP.

Also the mag pistols usually don't work out, and at rapid firring rates they = fail. Only because of the the design.

this was just something i was thinking about while at work it would be neat to have it as a backup. i was pretty much thinking noxx automag pistol+spydermag mod= backup mag-o-death lol
