    Tapping for cocker barrel threads?

So, my friend gave me an old PMI tracer pump gun. It's a nifty little thing, but the stock barrel is only so-so (and it sounds like a canon), and I've discovered over the past three months that Tracer-threaded barrels are impossible to come by. Therefore, I'm wondering if it's possible to send the gun somewhere and get the body drilled/tapped with cocker threads. That way, I can use one of my barrel kits with it, or I can stick my interceptor barrel on there and scare all the kiddies.

Has anyone ever done this? Any ideas about where I could send this thing, or how much it would cost me?

several people can bore your barrel for freak inserts. Also look around MCB, there is a barrel or twon for sale on there at times. J&J may still have ceramic barrels available.
I have nothing good to put here...........

        I'll look into this. Thanks.

Yeah.... I thought about this, but my stock tracer barrel is kinda weird. It's layered.... like, a really thick outer part (probably stainless steel), and then a really thin inner sleeve (who knows what it's made out of). So, I'm really not confident about getting it drilled out. I'll keep an eye on MCB, though. Thanks for the tip.

        Anyone else have some suggestions?
