Barrel problems

I have a problem with my mini mag. It fires with no barrel but when i put in the barrel the bolt moves up into the barrel and it wont fire.

First is there a spring on your bolt?

Check that the id of your barrel is large enough for your bolt. The barrel could be off center a bit if the barrel oring grooves aren't machined right or if the outside id of the barrel is incorrect.
